Support the George Family
On July 27, 2026, while traveling home from the World Dance Championship in the Meadowlands, the George family—one of our DeStella Dance Centre families—was involved in a devastating multi-vehicle accident on I-80 in Union County, Pennsylvania. A tractor-trailer failed to stop for traffic in a construction zone, causing a seven-vehicle pileup. Their vehicle was struck, overturned multiple times, and ultimately became trapped beneath the trailer.
The entire family is currently receiving treatment at Geisinger Medical Center. Lynn suffered a brain bleed and has been released from the hospital but is now spending her days moving between hospital rooms caring for her family. Jayson has undergone multiple surgeries and faces a long recovery. Lillian suffered multiple fractures and has had surgery. William remains intubated with a serious spinal cord injury, and Declan is fighting for his life after emergency brain surgery. All three children have sustained life-altering injuries.
